Hillary Clinton: "No one actually needs an AR-15"

Yet again, the longtime politician of the Democratic Party and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has come out against the Second Amendment - declaring that Americans should not be allowed to own AR-15 rifles.

Clinton has made similar comments in the past; while attending a Democrat debate in December 2015, she said that: “Guns, in and of themselves, in my opinion, will not make Americans safer. We lose 33,000 a people a year to gun violence, arming more people–to do what?–I think it’s not the appropriate response to terrorism.”

Clinton’s anti-gun statement came after a speech by Biden: in which he revealed new gun control proposals following the mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

After Biden said that the “Second Amendment is not absolute,” Hillary then echoed similar rhetoric to other left-leaning politicians by stating that “No one actually needs an AR 15.”

At a public address last Thursday, Biden unveiled a plan to get rid of “assault weapons” such as AR-15s and AK-47s as well as “high capacity magazines” that hold over 10 rounds, and he has also proposed increasing the age requirement for ownership of rifles and AR-15s to 21.

Even though the President of the U.S. is clearly attempting to bypass the U.S. Constitution, Biden tried to reassure Americans by declaring: “I want to be very clear, this is not about taking away anyone’s guns,” adding that “I respect the culture, tradition, the concerns of lawful gun owners.”
